Project blueprint

With the project goals clearly defined and agreed, a collection of project reference documents are drawn up, which may include site schematics and a creative brief. Careful planning at this stage ensures cost and time overruns are prevented later in production.

Solution

Using the project reference documents, the information architects, designers and developers begin pre-production.

The creatives develop a range of concepts, which they refine together with the information architect until you are happy with the final design.

Every e-business system makes different demands on technology. Therefore the developers construct a technical specification that shows how the solution will operate and integrate with your existing systems.

We build upon our knowledge, to make the best recommendation to you for an integrated solution.

Design & development

Working from the brief, schematics, technical specification and any other project reference documents the account manager oversees the development of the solution, maintaining regular contact with the client.

The creatives develop the approved design until it is ready for coding; while the developers build the application requirements and assemble any supporting software that might be required.

Clients are able to access their secure test site allowing you to see the ongoing development and collaborate with us during the build phase.

Testing & implementation

As you would expect we perform vigorous testing on all applications. This occurs at regular intervals as well as on completion of the build.

The information architect conducts usability testing. The developers carry out stress, system, cross-browser and platform testing. We are also able to perform independent market testing should you require it.

Once your testing requirements have been met the solution is handed over to you for final approval.

Support & maintenance

After implementation we ensure the continued smooth operation of the solution, which may include training, documentation, maintenance scheduling, and periodic reviews.

Depending on the application, it may also be necessary to look at data back up and recovery, hardware redundancy, and firewall maintenance, providing assurance that the application and your data are secure.
