Want to find out what the new social search results look like without boarding a plane to the USA?
All the excitement (and anger) in the SEO world recently has been geared towards Google Plus Your World. But the controversial new feature doesn’t appear to have rolled far outside the USA, leaving us in other parts of the world wondering what all the fuss is about and anxiously awaiting this substantial change in search results pages.
Well, we don’t need to wait any more. There is a simple way to access Google Plus Your World in the UK and (presumably) other parts of the world.

Normally if you type “google.com” into your browsers address bar, you will be redirected to your local Google address (“google.co.uk” for the UK). But on your Google homepage, in the bottom right hand corner you should see a link with the words “Go to Google.com”. Clicking this does what it says, without redirecting you. From there you will receive all the functionality of Google Plus Your World.
After the criticism of the initial launch, it seems that Google has reduced the amount of Google+ content in their search results, but we know how Google likes to gradually increase the amount of advertising/self-promotion on new products, so it is likely to return as we get more use to it and as media attention dies down.
